Gameday Preview: Texas vs Rice
What’s there to say, really? They suck, we don’t. The only real question is whether we’ll cover the 41 point spread. The way our defense plays, we probably will. I imagine we’ll be up by 28+ at halftime, bring back the starters to open the second half, then cruise to victory. You hate to take a game for granted, but if we lose to Rice… well, I’ll wear an OU shirt for a week.
Question for the readers: Will Texas cover the 41 point spread? Make your case.

The odds are against covering 41.
We have only done so once in the last ten years vs. Rice. I also think Mack will rest the stars early to avoid injury.
